- A networked game parasitizes in real lunar mission

Cinderella Lunar Mission is a networked “hide and seek” game on a virtual moon. Each player is identified by unique “barcode footprints” with his/her name. In the physical world, a real astronaut will wear a pair of mechanical moon boots and stamp the game winner’s footprint onto the real moon surface to end the game and reward the players. (read more)

- A real estate game as a lie detector

Pinocchio Tower is a online real estate game in which players can invest a virtual real estate market and collaboratively construct the tallest building in the cyber world. Just like Pinoochio's nose, the tower can either grow up or collapse reflecting players' honesties in the transactions. (read more)

- A game of epidemic outbreak in urban space

“Sleeping Beauty” is a “soporific virus” infecting through multi- player game on mobile phone. The players can download the client application to their cell phones and connect to the sever, where a disastrous “epidemic” is spreading virtually. (read more)

Commissioned by 20 Century Fox, Avatar Metamorphosis is an interactive installation in public space. It can capture pedestrian’s face and morphs it into an alien character in the movie Avatar. While the morphing, a customised algorithm keeps and exaggerates the pedestrian’s facial characteristics as a human.  (read more)

Balance

In this video game, two players have to scramble a ball on a tilting platform responding to the relative positions of players and the ball. Players have to keep balance and prevent the ball from falling down. That means in this game, two players sometimes have to collaborate as well as to compete.

The Last Supper

- AR game dynamically builds a crime scene 

Using Augmented reality (AR)system to create a narrative of crime movie. In this piece, audience can really get into a crime scene and use AR to investigate in the world mixing real and virtual evidence. I response to the screen writing. The story is pretty simple: one died after dinner. The clues are those props: wine, bottles, candles, chairs etc. Audience can move those props on the timeline to investigate who is the one put poison into wine. Depending on programming, the story is dynamically changing to challenge audience.

Droid Sphere

- cross city multiplayers game in public space

 

To promote Verizon's Droid phone, this is a public space game crossing multiple cities to let people compete to be the fasted one who can find the right app icons on a spinning sphere.

Sorcerer's Challenge 

- Motion capture controls the virtual magic world

 

Before Kinect, this is an early game application uses gesture recoganition techonology to control the virtual character and promote Disney's movie The Sorcerer's Apprentice.
